Point of Entrance
Point of Entrance is modeled after the cowcatchers found on early locomotives. The piece is permanently installed in Jeske Sculpture Park—a lush, green space nestled in a natural bowl and surrounded by modest single-family homes in the heart of Ferguson, Missouri. Ferguson’s beginnings are directly tied to the railroad, making this site particularly meaningful. By slightly increasing the scale of this familiar form, I’ve transformed it into something people can engage with physically and imaginatively.
